
Don’t vote leaders with questionable characteristics

The Azimio Deputy Presidential running mate Martha Karua has urged the mountain Kenya region community not be sweet-talked and vote for leaders with questionable characteristics .
She said by voting such leaders who are surrounded with scandals and dark past would not only be suicidal but dash the hope of Kenyans .
Speaking at the Kerugoya stadium this morning when she campaigned for the Azimio ,Karua said the country requires committed leaders who are not selfish and humble.
“It’s only the Azimio brigade which over 90 per cent of kenyans have accepted should be voted in come the August 9 general elections so that the team could take the country to the next level without discriminating any corner of our great country,”she said.

Accompanied by the Narc-kenya area gubernatorial candidate Murithi Kagai and his running mate Ndegwa Njiru, and Charles Kibiru with his running mate Peter Ndambiri of the Jubilee , Karua said parties within Azimio were holding serious talks to agree on one candidate to avoid being beaten by their rivals.
“Where parties within Azimio fraternity have fielded their candidates for various elective positions , we will soon be harmonizing this to ensure victory for our wing ,”she said.
She also cautioned the electorate to be wary of those seeking for the local gubernatorial positions having been members of parliament .
“The work of a county governor is that of a manager and requires an experienced person who will oversee the day to day running of the area government and not jokers who wouldn’t know when resources were being plundered, “the nominee said.
She also said those seeking for the election of MCAs should be men and women of high integrity since it was the Assembly and the Governor who form the County Government .
