Don't use parables and inuedos
A senior KANU official has cautioned politicians against using parables and inuedo only to claim they have been misquoted .
Tharaka Nithi County KANU branch chairman Peter Ndatho told political leaders they should use simple and Straight forward language instead of waiting to clarify later after things get hot on them.
He said the law must be applied uniformly against hate mongers inorder to save the country from getting ignited into fire.
Speaking to the mountain times on phone this afternoon from his Marimanti base ,the official said this was the wrong time for politicians with loose tongues .
" If you know you can't control your public uttterences please do not attend those political rarrries since you risk being arrested instantly once you engage in hate speech ," Ndatho warned .
Added the official " in order to be on the safe side please apply some political hygiene while in public rarries or be forthright in your speech and you be alright ".
The official was reacting to the arrest of the Meru Senator Mithika Linturi over his alleged hate speech while addressing a mammoth UDA rally in Eldoret town last Saturday .
He said although the matter was still under investigations , politicians should take que if what has happen to their colleague Linturi and tone down the political rhetoric
