“As you are all aware the students were unable to sit for their examination as from October last  year after the outbreak of the covid pandemic which forced the  government to have the examination carried forward to March this year hence  the unpredicted loss of momentum by the candidates  but despite which they still excelled , “said Abel Muriithi  the BOM Chairman.

The school which enjoys a  National status had 242 candidates  all  qualifying for University entrance save for 18 who scored between C plain and 1 D plus and who is still set to join any tertiary institution hence the  92.15 per cent transition rate.

As compared to the 2019 results and last year, five students in both years posted  grade A  while  grade A – was 13 and 31 respectively .

“These impressive results can only be attributed to the serious commitment to academic excellence  by our devoted teachers led by their  able  team captain  madam Lillian “the official said.

Muriithi said despite the examination having been held at an odd time in history, the students were determined to conquer the pandemic and posted the good grades better than  the previous year  which did not have  the challenge.

It has also emerged the institution has seven streams right from Form One to Form Four hence the over 200 candidates in the last two consecutive years .

The school administration says  there adequate infrastructure in place  to cater for the large number of students  , thanks to the able BOM which is always  ready to provide the teachers with what they required to enable them deliver .

“Hoping this pandemic  will  soon  be conquered  we assure  parents of our total commitment to our noble  calling  of transferring  and impacting  knowledge  to the  children , “the school administration affirmed.
