Following the joining of the Narc-kenya leader Martha Karua to the  Azimio, residents of Kirinyaga County are  now set to vote overwhelmingly  for the outfit come August 9 general elections.

This is according to the outfit’s  county coordinator Joakim Maragia after he received many UDA defectors who were allegedly shortchanged during  its  recent sham nominations .

Maragia while  receiving  the defectors at  the Azimio offices in Wanguru township opposite the   Wanguru International Stadium  said the move was a  clear indication  that all the area MCAs will be  members of this coalition after the general elections .

Briefing the media at the coalition offices , Maragia praised Karua for the bold move to join the winning team pointing out that she had now confirmed her place in the forthcoming political dispensation .

“Am appealing to Kirinyaga people to follow the example  of this distinguished lady called Martha  Karua  by supporting  the winning team  on August  9 ,” he said.

The coordinator said the UDA brigade  was now terribly worried over the entry of Karua into the Azimio outfit which was set to  produce  the fifth president of Kenya in the  name of Raila Odinga

Maragia  said the  Azimio fraternity  comprised of true democrats where all were welcome on board  as  the country prepared to usher in a new  dispensation .
