Senatorial candidate cries foul over bill boards

A Kirinyaga Senatorial candidate  James Karimi is crying foul over the derestriction and defacing of his campaign bill boards.

Karimi who is seeking  for the seat seat for a second time  accused his competitors of hiring goons to destroy the bill boards .

The candidate who is running on a DP ticket wondered why anyone in his true senses should embark on such an evil mission.

“I cannot comprehend why some of my competitors should resort to these criminal activities instead of soliciting for  votes peacefully and in a democratic manner, “he said.

In a media briefing at the Roswam hotel, Kerugoya , Karimi said after  his started shooting up , his political nemesis  had opted to use any means to bring him down.

The contender who is a public health expert assured locals that he will discharge his oversight, representation and Legislative roles as per the constitution.

“If elected I give my word to the locals  that I will do all what it takes to ensure the resources the national government allocates our county was well utilized and accounted to the penny  unlike those who have been there before and failed to carry their duties diligently, “he said.

Others in the race are Tonny Karimi (independent), Peter Kathanga (Safina) and Daniel Karaba of the Jubilee.
