The crumbling of communism architecture bows out of the world

On Tuesday this week , at a Moscow hospital the man who was the chief Architecture in bringing down communism in the early 90’s took his last breath and bowed out of the world political  stage.

Mikhail Gorbachev died at the age of 91 years and left the world a better place than he found it since it was during his reign that saw the crumbling of  the Berlin wall that had  separated East Germany and the  Union of Soviet Socialist Republics  of Russia.(USSR).

The Soviet Union, officially the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), was a transcontinental country that spanned much of Eurasia from 1922 to 1991.

Gorbachev who was little known and with very scanty details of his past took over the reins of this supper power  in 1985 and headed these Republics until the crumbling of communism on May 25 , 1991 ,upon  which he resigned.

Thereafter he watched from his  house  country after country declare its independence while this unstoppable wind blew  across the world and brought many African  dictators  down.

In Kenya for instance the then president Daniel Moi had vowed multiparty democracy would never be allowed unless after 100 years later but in 1992, it came to pass.

The "state enemy" Munene Kamau right inthe middle of the two most powerful men inthe world at the time the KANU regime associated him with given they were perceived by the then KANU regime as unfriendly to Kenya. Mikhael Gorbachev USSR , (left) and Libya's Muarmar Gaddaffi.

But to put you in the right perspective let me just sneak  just a  glance  into this story my ‘relationship’ with Gorbachev according to gospel the Kanu stalwarts preached at the time of the one party autocracy.

It was alleged that on diverse days between 1986 and 1987 I used to frequent two powerful countries perceived as enemies of the  Kenya government and ruling party .

My persecutors    were however not able to display or proof how I managed to frequented Libya and Moscow undetected since my pass port did not bear the prerequisite departure   and  arrival stamps  at the port of departure and    arrival and vice versa.

Am talking of the contents of the treason charged I faced just as Gorbachev I had neither met nor  ever called on phone  or vice  versa was busy crafting  the details of the death of communism and which brought the new world  order.

As for Libyan leader Colonel  Muammar  Gaddafi  whom I was also accused of frequently vising in Tripoli was punished severely by the Kanu regime by having his Embassy in Nairobi closed down as I was allegedly using the heavily fortified facility to recruit parking boys from the streets of Nairobi before transporting them to this North African  oil rich country to be trained as guerillas.

The boys now turned guerillas would return back to Kenya and unlawfully topple the democratically and constitutionally elected government of president Moi.

Ironically, it was when I was undergoing massive financial difficulties since my father was ailing  at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital   Nairobi yet I was ‘ receiving ’huge sums of money from the two foreign masters ‘.

The truth of the matter was that I had never travelled to Libya as alleged nor spoken to Gaddafi on phone .

Its therefore most unfortunate that Gorbachev has left  the world without having seen my face nor heard my voice just like Gaddafi who was executed on October 20 ,2011 .

FARE THEE WELL MY TWO ‘FOREIGN’ MASTERS WHOM I NEVER LIVED TO MEET NOR TALK TO

This is coincidentally a preview of my upcoming memoirs titled  ‘The State Enemy’
